Since 1937, Union County Public Health has been helping to strengthen our community by preventing the spread of disease, promoting health and the equity of medical care, and protecting against the issues that challenge our health.

Clinical Services
Medical Care and Prescriptions for Uninsured Adults
Community Health Services of Union County provides primary care to uninsured adults 18-64 years old who live in Union or Anson County. An application packet must be completed before the first visit and they request a $20 donation for each visit. Visit their website or call 704-296-0909 for more information.
Anson Regional Medical Services (ARMS) provides primary care to uninsured adults who live in Union or Anson County. Fees are determined by a sliding fee scale based on family income. They have offices in Monroe and Wadesboro. Visit their website or call 704-694-6700 for more information.
Matthews Free Medical Clinic provides primary care to uninsured patients 14-64 years old who live in Union or Mecklenburg County. An application packet must be completed before the first visit and services are free. Visit their website or call 704-841-8882 and select option 1 for more information.
HealthQuest of Union County provides prescription medications for uninsured patients who live in Union, Anson or Stanly County and cannot afford their maintenance medications. Visit their website or call 704-226-2050 (Monroe) 704-994-4720 (Wadesboro) for more information
