Services

The Union County Pubic Health Maternity Clinic provides prenatal care to help ensure the health and well-being of both the mother and baby throughout a woman's pregnancy.

All prenatal visits are completed on-site. Appointments for ultrasounds will be scheduled at a local obstetric office.

Delivery services are provided by Atrium Health Union OB/GYN providers at the Atrium Health Union Hospital in Monroe.

Eligibility

Underinsured and uninsured pregnant women who live in Union or Anson County are eligible for services.

Payments

Fees for services will be determined by a sliding fee scale based on family income. Patients may be eligible for Emergency Medicaid to assist with the costs of delivery.

Appointments

Appointments for the initial maternity intake visit with a nurse are available on Wednesdays or Fridays.

Throughout the pregnancy, provider visits will be scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
