The Emergency Management Department works with other entities and the public to guarantee Union County is prepared to protect itself against, respond to and recover from various types of disasters. This is accomplished by identifying the community's hazards, resources and capabilities and conducting preparedness briefs through developing and exercising emergency operations plans and coordinating efforts between response units.
