The Register of Deeds office administers Notary Public oaths for Union County notaries between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. To access Notary Public forms online or to learn about the requirements for Notary Publics, we have provided links to the NC Secretary of State’s website. Please feel free to print out and complete the form from one of the following links below. The completed form should be mailed to the NC Secretary of State Office, Notary Division, along with the application fee of $50.00 for processing. After you receive confirmation from the NC Secretary of State’s office, you are to be sworn in at the Register of Deeds office. The Notary Public oath fee is $10.00 (money order, cash or credit card accepted) and you will need to bring your Driver's License and a copy of your confirmation from the NC Secretary of State's office.
