What are the steps to get married?

1. Make sure you meet our marriage requirements
2. Both applicants must come into the office at the same time to complete the application, but may be submitted in one of two ways:
   • Apply Online
   • Apply in person:
     Visit the Union County Government Center located at 500 North Main Street, Suite 258, Monroe, NC.
   • Marriage licenses are issued Monday thru Friday, 8:30 am to 4 pm.
