Commuter bus service from Indian Trail to Uptown Charlotte
Union County Express - or Route 74X - is a convenient, affordable option for residents who commute between Union County and uptown Charlotte. Funded in part by Union County and the town of Indian Trail, the commuter bus service is operated by the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS).
Riders can board the bus in the parking lot of Union Towne Center, located at 5850 W. Highway 74, Indian Trail, and enjoy express service with no stops until the bus reaches the Charlotte Transportation Center, 310 E. Trade St., Charlotte.
For the return route, riders board at College and 3rd streets in uptown Charlotte and enjoy express service with no stops. The bus returns to Union Towne Center.
