NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Union County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. in the Commissioners' Board Room, first floor, Union County Government Center, 500 North Main Street, Monroe, North Carolina.  The purpose of this special meeting is to consider and receive information concerning certain water and sewer issues and related topics.  Topics planned for discussion during this special meeting include, without limitation, the Water and Sewer Master Plan, a potential sewer allocation policy, and related water and sewer capital and operational needs.  Other topics may be considered as permitted by applicable law. 

The Board may give direction and take such actions related to these matters as the Board deems appropriate, and as permitted by applicable law.
