Veterans Day Ceremony at the Warbirds Over Monroe Air Show

Opening Ceremony: Saturday, Nov. 11, 10:45 a.m.

  • Introduction: Union County's Director of Veterans Services will be addressing the crowd at the opening ceremony.
You are invited to the City of Monroe’s Warbirds Over Monroe Air Show where Union County’s Director of Veterans Services, Michelle Marcano, will be addressing the crowd on Saturday, Nov. 11,  during the event’s opening ceremony at 10:45 a.m. 
 
Purple Heart Veteran, Harry Watkins (US Army, 101st Airborne, Vietnam, Hamburger Hill) will be the keynote speaker.  
 
Commissioners Richard Helms and Brian Helms will be presenting awards and proclamations to selected Union County JROTC Cadets of excellent merit.
