Join Union County Parks & Recreation for our free pop-up programs, starting Tuesday, June 13 and ending Thursday, Aug. 17. There is a $4.00 per vehicle park entrance fee.
These pop-up programs are on a first-come, first-served basis with an average time of 15 minutes per guest. On-site waivers are required.
For ages 8 & older. A parent or guardian must be present with a minor (children under 18) at all times during participation of pop-up programs.
Tuesdays*
Join our staff as we teach basic archery shooting skills and allow you to practice in a safe environment with a USA Archery certified instructor.
This pop-up program is first come, first served and the average time on the range is 15 minutes. Guests may then get back in line if they wish to participate again!
*No program on Tuesday, June 27.
Wednesdays
Join our staff as we teach basic paddle board paddling skills and allow you to paddle in a supervised area of the lake.
This pop-up program is first come first serve and the average time on a paddle board is 15 minutes. Guests may then get back in line if they wish to paddle again!
Thursdays
Join our staff as we teach basic kayak paddling skills and allow you to paddle in a supervised area of the lake.
This pop-up program is first come, first served and the average time in a kayak is 15 minutes. Guests may then get back in line if they wish to kayak again!

No registration required. First come, first served.
The program is available in the morning from 9:30-11:30 a.m. or in the afternoon from 1:30-3:30 p.m. on the designated dates below.
