Commissioner Harrison worked in Corporate America for over 30 years with 20 years of that in management positions, retiring in 2004 from Johnson & Johnson as Vice President of Quality and Business Services which was an international job. On an annual basis she managed a 90 million dollar budget, received numerous leadership and achievement awards and worked with regulatory agencies around the world.
Since retiring, Commissioner Harrison has served as the President of her homeowners association since 2007, served on the board of Christ our Shepherd ministries, appointed to the Weddington Parks and Rec Committee in 2010, elected to Weddington Town Council 2011 – 2015 and appointed to Weddington Town Planning Board in 2015 till present.
Commissioner Harrison is a Kean University (NJ) graduate with a degree in Mathematics.
She and her husband Pat have lived in Weddington for 13 years and have a son and one grandson.
As a conservative leader, Commissioner Harrison believes in the rights of the individual property owner, limited government, fiscal responsibility and sound decision making.
